Rep. Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House in the 110th Congress. She has declared that impeachment is "off the table"^[1].

On July 10, 2008, in a surprise reversal of her earlier position, she said that the House Judiciary Committee could hold hearings on Dennis Kucinich's newly introduced impeachment resolution^[2].
